The Visa Bulletin for June 2024 was just released. The EB-1 and EB-2 priority dates remain unchanged. It appears based on the EB-2 comment that the advancement that was made in priority dates in April may be the last advancement for a while. The comment suggests that the priority dates for EB-2 will likely retrogress in the coming months. Given the uncertainty of the EB-2 priority dates, it is important to develop a long-term plan. If you qualify for an EB-2 it is very important to file early to get a priority date established. As a result of the current priority dates, we continue to work with our EB-2 clients to file EB-1 and O-1 cases at a significantly discounted rate should the need arise and if the necessary qualifications are met.
